I bought 2 of these... the first one broke when our camera fell on a rock. It protected the native lens and did its job. Very transparent and keeps picture quality intact. No issues buying a second and recommending it.

Not much to say about this item... it's just a lens protector filter. It appears to be well and uniformly coated and optically neutral in color. It fits the DSC-R1 perfectly as expected. Probably worth five stars, but I dislike hyperbole ;-)
